Great show today! Wonderfully useful information; I never finished setting up my Facebook page because I had a number of questions about privacy, etc. which you answered.
Very nice job!!
I am emailing to let you know I have been offered and accepted an Account Manager position with… It is a position to service and manage a Tractor Supply Store in the Northeast. Also everyone commented that my resume was the best resume they had ever seen. Thank you for your help and direction.
I also wanted to let you know that I found out Friday that I have been accepted to the Sustainability Management program at Columbia University.
“On behalf of all of us at the Center for Women of New York, i would like to thank you for your participation as workshop leader at the World of Working Women 2008…Your help has been invaluable to the Center and me. I have great hopes for some of our ideas to be implemented.”

“I want to thank you for all the advice and support. You created a tremendous resume for me, critiqued my clothing and helped me dress more fashionably and professionally, and provided ongoing morale-boosting, as well as innumerable concrete ideas in regard to the job search. You were always extremely insightful, and gave me many tools to view myself more insightfully as well. The Job Club is a truly amazing amazing creation that is uniquely yours but has taken on a real life of its own. (The word “amazing” is much overused these days, but it is just the right adjective in this instance.) Each meeting has more and more depth to it, no matter whether the participants have been attending for a while or there are new faces. You bring out the best in people. Thanks for everything! I wish for you whatever you wish for yourself.”
“You were such a blessing. Thank you so much for all you’ve done. God Bless”
“Working with Anne-Marie was a genuine and rewarding pleasure. She helped me identify my key accomplishments, assets and strengths and spotlighted them in a well-crafted, powerful resume and cover letter. The first time I sent them out, which was to one of the top companies I was targeting to work for, I got the call and the interview. Anne-Marie thoroughly coached and prepped me for the interview (I had not interviewed in many, many years) and made me feel comfortable and confident. Bottom line…..I got the job…..and I couldn’t be happier. Thanks again Anne-Marie!”
I am pleased to announce that I just passed the test for St. Luke’s Roosevelt. I interviewed twice already with the clinical coordinator and only await the physical exam to finish the hiring process. I should start orientation the first week of January. I could not have done it without you and your marvelous insight.
Since my résumé was done in 8/02, I have had a position as a crisis counselor and have been a consultant for two agencies.
I am in total agreement with JPat working with you on a monthly basis. He and I have discussed this and feel that your services are invaluable at this point. We look forward to a continued working relationship.
Working with you for the last few months has greatly helped me. I gained insight into myself, my accomplishments and what’s important to me.
When we started on this journey, I really had serious doubts about my ability to secure a job offer under the goals we had set. But, by working hard and staying focused, everything worked out so well.
I got the job! The offer came in today. Whahoo! I’m still a bit dazed but hopefully it will hit me tomorrow. Thanks for all your help. I’ll be in New York in the next week or so to find an apartment so maybe we can have that cocktail then.
I would like to take this opportunity to express my thanks and appreciation for the help you provided me in writing my résumé and also in the thank you letters. I received so many compliments on my résumé and my thank you letters were done to perfection.
It was a pleasure working with you on my job search. First Impression Career Services, LLC, in my opinion, is a class act. You were able to capture over twenty years of my work experience in the perfect résumé. You are truly a professional and I enjoyed working with you.
The interview went well. It was a panel with five people. During the interview, Gary asked one CAR (challenges, actions, results) question and I was happy to answer it.
Overall it was positive and I learned a lot. This interview was my best performance ever, and it was thanks to your training.
I’m sending this testimonial in regards to the exceptional work that you’ve done on recreating my résumé. I’m especially pleased with the structure that you’ve selected to detail my various computer skills. I was most impressed with the detailing of my career accomplishments and goals achieved. This résumé has granted me an opportunity to interview a second time in hopes for permanent employment.
I just wanted to let you know about the positive feedback I received from the head of the facilities department at Northrop Grumman. Being an architect himself, he loved the creative design and content you incorporated into my resume. In his own words, he had “never seen a resume like that before and was very impressed.” Thanks again for your help. I can’t wait to use it when I’m ready to search for another job!
Again thank you so much for your time and advice. You really encouraged me to accomplish a lot toward my career. You have been nothing but kind and caring.
Good news, my résumé worked. A month ago I began a job in a small high-end interior design firm located in Brooklyn Heights and I am very happy. I am the office manager. Also, someone else contacted me today for another job in the Interior Design field.
I can’t thank you enough for the professional quality of the versions of the resume and cover letter which you sent me yesterday. I am eagerly looking forward to seeing a greatly improved response from employers when I start using these documents.
Just a quick note to thank you for some very insightful tips yesterday. I guess I am ready to hear suggestions, and I am very determined to put them into practice, especially at work. Have already started. Thanks again.
I’ve just received a confirmation that I’ve been accepted for a new position as Network Administrator for an accounting firm in Manhattan.
It could never have happened without your support, insightfulness and tact. You made it possible for me to work through the transitions of mind and heart so as to succeed in finding and getting the position I’d always wanted.
I met you at the resume review session at the Women for Hire career fair. I just wanted to write to let you know that the brief time I spent talking to you was well worth standing out in the snow for an hour and waiting for another hour to sit and talk with a resume counselor.
I have redone my resume and feel much better about sending it out into the world. It’s really more of a reflection of who I am than the previous version; it’s clean, inviting, straightforward and holds together beautifully.
I just want to say thanks!
After following your tips on preparing for my annual evaluation at work, I received a 12% salary increase and a promotion!
While I had accomplished a lot in my last year, I hadn’t kept track of what I had done. You suggested that I document and quantify my achievements. I asked for a 12% salary increase, demonstrating how my contributions to the organization translated into increased revenues.
My boss was impressed by how well I had prepared for our meeting, and gave me the salary increase I had requested as well as a new title with more responsibility! Thanks so much for your help.
Got to let you know…I started working at Bull Services (formerly Honeywell Bull) two weeks ago. It’s a systems integrator in the public sector space, and although the resume you did was not directed specifically at those types of opportunities, it surely helped to have the version you did.
I guess I’m another happy customer. Thanks for your fine work.
With your help, I have been able to negotiate a raise in these difficult economic times. You have helped my empower myself. I am now at the point where I am ready to send out my new résumé, which you helped my create, to various agencies and potential employers. The beauty of all of this is that I will be able to explore all of my options at my own pace and make this decision in a wise and timely manner. Thanks for all of your help and support.
With twenty years experience in the corporate world, I thought that I had a good, professional resume and was somewhat skeptical of career coaches. However, I found that in this competitive job market, I needed something better to stand out.
First Impression Career Services, LLC helped me craft a much more professional, impactful resume that has helped open doors and lead to more and better opportunities.
I would highly recommend First Impression Career Services, LLC to anyone who is looking for a new position or making a career change
